Motherboard
Dell XPS 13 9350 (Clover)
CPU
i7-6560U (100-series)
Graphics
Intel Iris 540/3200 x 1800
I'm trying to follow this guide https://github.com/syscl/XPS9350-macOS however, when booting the installer I'm stuck at "attempting system restart ... Mach reboot"
I'm using the same clover folder as in the guide.

From where did you download macOS?
On what hardware did you create your USB installer?

I don't think you followed that guide correctly (ACPI/patched content does not match config.plist content).
Also, no need for patched ACPI to reach the installer.
I have just dowloaded the clover folder that is on the first link and replaced it after installing clover on the usb stick. maybe it's wrong then ?

So I deleted the patched acpi and I've tried dropping MATS table and now it is boot looping and there is a bootloop and an prohibited sign in the middle of the screen

Save ACPI patching for post-install.
See guide:

No need to drop MATS. Correct fix is config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes/FixHeaders=true.
