ASRock Extreme x99
Core i7 5820k
Gigabyte GTX650

OS stuck on Apple logo

I've tried -v nv_disbale=1 and npci=0x2000 and here's what happens:
first I get stuck on this screen for a while(just an underscore)and then some plus signs show up for a secondand then all these, and then pc reboots

any suggestions? Thanks.

Enter kext-dev-mode=1 and dart=0 as boot flags, and re-check.

Also, have you used Unibeast method or Clover?

When getting stuck at PCI configuration begin when using X79 or X99 hardware use npci=0x2000 or npci=0x3000

Hi, I've tried everything on the big list. The system reboots after PCI Config rather than getting stuck...

Try these boot flags - /amd1 and npci=0x3000

The X99 hardware does appear to be particularly difficult to install El Capitan - I am unable to see an Extreme 4 build using El Capitan. There is a user with an Extreme 3. Have a look over the UEFI/BIOS settings and try some additional bootflags:

Eh No. Not for a non distro installation on Intel hardware.
