Doing a brand new build (not the one in my sidebar).
Mobo: MSI Z170A-G45 GAMING
CPU: 6700k (Skylake)
Following the master El Capitan install guide (http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/u...upported-intel-based-pc.172672/#install_elcap)
Successfully got all the way through to the end of step 4.
After El Capitan 10.11.4 (yes, I made sure of that) has installed, and the computer spontaneously restarts, that's where I'm stuck.
I hold down F11 to select the boot device, and I see this screen. (Note: my El Cap installer is on a Patriot flash drive, and as you can see, there are two separate Patriot options here -- one UEFI and one not.) I choose the UEFI Patriot option:
After I choose UEFI Patriot option, I get to the Clover screen:
And this is where I'm stuck. I think I'm supposed to choose HFS (which correctly shows the name of the hard drive I installed El Capitan too), but when I do, I go straight to a black screen that never shows anything.
If I try and boot to HFS in verbose mode, this is the error I get:
And now I have no idea what to do. A little help?
