This is my first hackintosh and I am having a hard time loading the OS without -x.

When I try to load without -x, the system says after [PCI configuration begin]:

I've tried the following things to fix this:
-multibeast NVIDIA kexts: no change, still can't boot without -x
-NVEnabler: no change, still can't boot without -x
-install NVIDIA webdrivers from NVIDIA website: I don't think these fully install properly. I install the package, edit the plist as directed in the NVIDIA driver thread, then reboot. Problem is, since I can only boot into safe mode, I don't think these drivers ever fully install. When I try to click on the drivers in the settings app, it says they were not installed properly.

There is another thread on this subject (http://www.tonymacx86.com/general-h...com-apple-applefscompressiontypedataless.html) that suggested NVIDIA drivers fix this issue. Like I said, I can't get them to install properly.

Does anyone have any tips or advice on this?

My build, for reference:
Gigabyte Z87-D3HP (on most recent firmware, Version 4)
i5-4570
NVIDIA GTX 650Ti Boost 2GB
120GB Samsung 840EVO
16GB Patriot RAM

I have the same problem, can anyone help please?

My build is quite comparable:
Gigabyte Z87X-OC Force (on most recent firmware as well)
i7-4770k
Palit JetStream NVIDIA GTX 770 4GB
240GB Sandisk Extreme II
32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM 1866Mhz

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am new at this.

No, but it certainly seems like a video card driver issue. Let's hope Mavericks fixes it.

What if we try to boot with the integrated gpu and then install the nvidia drivers ???
I want to try it this way and see if i can get the nvidia drivers to install properly but i have to wait until i get home later on .

Hey,

I'm also having the exact same problem. It all started when I upgraded my graphics card from a geforce 210 to the GTX 760. Now when I try to boot it gets stuck at com.apple.applefscompressiontypedataless load succeeded.

Have any of you had much luck yet.

Rob
