Stuck after password

Showed a message "reinstall the nvidia web driver manager" . Then i just restarted the machine after sometime, then its stuck on the password screen ,no response, bottom side of the screen is black now. I dont know what happened. What should i do? Please help.
Asus z170 pro gaming mother board
Intel core i7
Corsair 16gb ram
Asus strix 1080ti 4gb graphics (showing strix R7370 in bios(i dnd knw))

Not a Desktop Guide - Moved to Desktop Support.

There is no Pascal graphics support for El Capitan, you need at least Sierra 10.12.4 for that.

There are no drivers for a Asus strix 1080ti 4gb until 10.12.4.
Perhaps you have posted in the wrong forum, this is for El Capitan.
Or perhaps your profile is incorrect.
