struggling to get mountain lion working on p8z77-v

p8z77-v motherboard
intel i5 3570k
gtx 670 evga ftw edition
8gb cosair 1600mhz ram

can anyone help? i installed mountain lion perfectly with no problems and when i reboot via the usb flash drive mac osx comes up fine and i can open up programs etc

after running multibeast and installing the settings most other people have (without dstd) which is also fine but after i reboot the apple logo comes up and spins and then goes to a black screen, but when i changed to vga connector and changed the output settings i discovered it goes to a screen saying i need to power off and restart my system ? :s

have i mucked up some settings using multibeast? im trying again as we speak but to anyone who has this board advice would be appreciated..

update ! : got it working but there is no sound via hdmi cable! can anyone help

i think that hdmi is just for digital video i don't know if its for both but i could be wrong...
which audio did you install in multibeast? al-892? that's the one i have and audio is working fine...have not tested hdmi.
