Strange sound behaviour in Maveriks

Hi Toleda I need help with my audio. I have manage to get it to work partly. I've recently made changes (new I7 processor) to my z77-UD5H, and did a fresh install of mavericks 10.9.5. I've tried to follow your sound guides yet. My sound partly works, but stops frequently. I then have to put it to sleep and wake the computer to have sound again. I can then watch a video with sound but as soon as it's done, I loose the sound. I need to start a video editing project tomorrow so can't work that way. I've read and looked most sources but can't get it to work. I had previously managed to get it to work with Mountain lion...

Not related to audio. Audio is installed correctly.
No ideas.
