Hi everyone,
My hack has been pretty smooth since last month when i made it.
Specs:
Gigabyte GA-z77-UD5H
Core i7 3770k
GeForce 550ti
Corsair Vengeance 16GB RAM (1333 MHz)
Lion 10.7.4
I'm using a DSDT provided my a tonymac user, as I wasn't able to get onboard audio to work with just the UserDsdt.
Apart from that I'm only using a kext for my TP-Link wifi adapter.
Since last one week, out of nowhere, strange artifacts have started appearing on screen. And it almost makes the system unusable.
The mouse pointer still moves, but clicking doesn't seem to do anything. But I was able to do a screen capture using cmd+shift+3,
and the artifacts appear in the screenshot as well. I have attached the files to this thread.
Can this be a hardware problem, or can it be because of improper installation (but in that case the problem should have been there since the beginning, it worked pretty smooth for 3 weeks.) ?
I would grateful if someone could help me identify the problem.
PS. The white screen with the grey apple doesn't fit my screen, and looks kind of low res. Dunno if this also relates to my problem.
