Hey guys,
The past couple of days, I've tried to turn my windows 7 PC into a hackintosch.
Now I keep hitting the same road block 'still waiting for root device'.
I have tried everything suggested on these forums, but nothing seems to work.
I tried -x -v -f npci=0x2000/1000/3000 usekernelcache=yes/no PCIRootUID=0/1/2 GraphicsEnabler=YES/NO
I then found it might have been because my integrated graphics are not supported, so I bought a graphics card.
But still nothing works.
My system consist of:
GA-H57M-USB3 rev 2.0
Intel i3-540 CPU (not overclocked)
1x4GB of Kingston valueram DDR3 1333mhz pc3-10600
1TB seagate barracuda 7200rpm
En de net aangeschafte Radeon HD6450
Bios settings are as recommended.
I have also tried connecting the hard drive to different sata ports.
I have no DVD drive, so i can only use the unibeast method.
I use a LaCie cookey 8GB
Can anyone please help me, I don't want to get back to using that win7 as my iTunes server...
Thanks in advance...
Arne
