Dell Vostro 3450 i5-2410M HM67 chipset

Clover v3911, UEFI

HD3000 and radeon graphics. i have set the Primary Display Selection in BIOS to IGD. in "PEG Port Configuration" i have disabled Always Enable PEG, disabled PEG X1 mode, and disabled PEG ASPM.

following rehabman's guide to patching ACPI, i have extracted dsdt and ssdt's using clover F4. i disassembled following his instructions, using refs.txt. i corrected the few errors in the tables.

i patched the dsdt with: _wak, HPET, SMBUS, IRQ, RTC, OS check (using win 8 patch), IMEI, USB 6-series, added DTGP, GFX0-->IGPU patch in the dsdt and the ssdt that contained GFX0, and the battery patch for Dell XPS-13.

all tables compiled without errors.

i am trying to boot to the Sierra installer, prepared using the createinstallmedia method. the problem is that the boot stops shortly after it begins, waiting for root device.

i have tried all the usb ports, as well as two different usb sticks.

the STRANGE thing is that using a DSDT from a different laptop (my Envy 15t) DOES NOT stall waiting for boot device. the EFI folder for that boot is on the same stick as the unbeatable EFI folder, so i'm sure the stick is not to blame.

i have attached my clover folder (minus /themes)

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.

Make sure you use a USB2 stick in an Intel USB2 port.

Hello, you did it?
I'm starting with the same notebook and found the same problem.

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.

The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

I already read these.
I already tried Clover and Chameleon but the result was the same.

I want to know if there are any specific kext to HM67 and WDC HD.

Regards,
