MY GOD!!

Got it working too!!! Thanks cccip!! Can't believe my eyes, what the...!?

Had to change the smbios to MacMini 6,2 and then suddenly; BAM!

This is great!!!!! :D

Like cccip, I'll share my current setup;

OSX 10.10.4
GTX980 MSI
Dell UP3214Q (DP 1.2 enabled in settings)
DP to DP
MacMini 6,2
Web Driver: 346.02.02f02

i use a 4790K with a 280X card, and with 10.10.3 and 10.10.4 it works flawless at 4K and 60hz, OOB with the display port cable supplud with my monitor (LG 31MU97)

using HDMI it only work at 30Hz

OS X 10.10.4 (14E46)
346.02.02f02 known to cause Safari quit periodically and won't boot with second display connected over HDMI, choice is yours.

LG 31MU97 got HDMI 1.4 only, so you stuck with 30Hz over that port.

346.02.02f03 is out. Fixes the Safari crashing.

See if it helps - my testing backup USB was 10.10.3 with upgrade to 10.10.4 and then applying 346.02.02f02
Using clover, UEFI boot (CSM disabled, no Legacy boot possible), MacMini6,2 sysdef
Still works after upgrading to 346.02.02f03

Main system was 10.10.1 with upgrade to 10.10.4 and then applying 346.02.02f02 (346.02.02f03 now)
Previos driver versions between 343.01.02f03 (10.10.1) and 346.02.02f02 (10.10.4) offered only a boot loop on this sysdef.

Using the pixel clock patch, I am able to run my 3440x1440 WQHD @ 60hz over HDMI on GTX 960 where before it was locked at 30hz.

I suspect this will also work for 4K resolution but don't have an HDMI 2.0 4k monitor/TV on hand in order to test. Someone else can give it a try.

Here is the patcher github repo: https://github.com/Floris497/mac-pixel-clock-patch

Any updates with El Capitan on HDMI 2.0???

Recent 10.10.5 update with nvidia 346.02.03f01 drivers is 4K@60Hz safe
