I was able to run Big Sur on my steamdeck, Im still having issues with the video acceleration using nootedred, I am sure I am doing something wrong

search on github for A Opencore EFI to run MacOS on the Steam Deck update to latest opencore and kext, then replace the efi

I was able to clone my drive and run ventura from an external nvme, I will share my efi but might or might not work with your configuration, this will work if you have an external gpu

Have you tried NootedRed?.

Efi with nootedred, disable whatevergreen , agdpmod=pikera and change resolution to 1024 if you dont have an external gpu, I also enabled the 8 cores

It's not working yet but the developer is working on it, but I think they need testers

Maybe but still has lots of issues I've been testing it and actually typing from it and so far is working fast

I’m using NRed with Ventura and Sonoma and things seem fine so far. Unfortunately I upset the developers and they blocked me from their site, so I can’t really offer them feedback. Not sure I understand the thinking behind that but there you go!.
