Ssdt i7-3630qm 2,4-3,4 ghz

Hi, my Intel I7-3630QM runs up to 3.17 Ghz (3.4 Ghz but should) Hardware Monitor says.


Stepping is OK
Have tried with MaciASL and SSDT generation script (Ivybridge PM), always the same result.


SMBIOS 6.2, 8.2, 9.1, 9.2, 10.1 and tested over the same


Use Clover (latest), APIC kernel patch, NullCPUPowerManagement.kext,
pached AppleAHCIPort.kext (SATA), VoodooHDA.kext 7.4.3 (no AppleHDA.kext)
GenericUSBXHCI.kext and FakeSMC

SSDT stored under \EFI\Clover\ACPI\pached... tested with SSDT.aml and SSDT-1.aml

You can't expect PM/turbo to work if you're using NullCPU...

I have now installed pached AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext of MultiBeast, and now he goes up to 3.2 Ghz.


I will try again with different SMBios.

That is about the best you can hope for, since per Intel spec, your CPU can only go to x34 when only a single core is active.

that's ok, does not seem to go faster (3,28Ghz), Win8 is slightly faster according to Cinebench
and Geekbench is probably normal.
