SSD Help

I have my system on an SSD and my user account on a HD. I just cloned my SSD to a larger one. When I boot to the new SSD it can't find my user account, or at least it won't access it. Instead of automatically logging in it goes to the log in screen it shows my account and accepts the password, but it then comes back with an error. If I go back to the original SSD everything is OK. Any ideas on how to fix this?

is it possible to move your user account to the ssd you are booting from and then move it back to where you want it to go?
