Thanks pal. Followed those steps and now Sleep AND SpeedStep work without the need to sleep.

GOT IT!

All I needed from this guide was the iMac12.2 Though. Works Great! I just used MultiBeast though, now I have speedstep up to x45!

Goog to hear, be sure to thank SysGatesFan

Make sure you use the plist in that thread, with a VANILLA UNPATCHED AppleIntelCpuPowerManagement. Not the Patched one from maize or MultiBeast.

[SUCCESS] OK, replaced the iMac 12.2 .plist and now running "Late 2011 iMac".
Speed Stepping works without need to sleep first.
However I only have the lowest and highest multipliers available, so there is still something to work on. BTW I'm not using patched BIOS - got 3402. Could this be the reason? What about the BIOS settings? At least defining different multipliers to processor cores did not make any difference.

Haven't seen any inbetween multipliers as well. x16 and x45

having speedstep 16x and 45x is not speedstep.
its more an on off switch.
