Using 10.6.4, with legacy889hda in /Extra.

Subject line says it all - after waking from sleep, sound crackles and runs in spurts almost as if playing a video on an underpowered processor, if that makes sense.

An addendum...installing HDA 10.6.2 rollback didn't solve the problem.

But if I take my USB DAC offline and plug my speakers directly to line out, then the problem goes away - no crackling after wake from sleep.

So, essentially it seems that USB audio codec is broken with a wake from sleep. As far as I can recall, this happened only recently, following the upgrade to F13 bios - under F11, I didn't see this problem.

Anyone have any ideas?

Are you using a DSDT?
