Sound Card Recommendation

Hi All,

I've got a GB mobo with an ALC888B and after 10.8.2 my sound doesn't work anymore. Seems to be related to a mobo bug - I need audio and thought perhaps I could just buy a new audio card.

Any recommendations on a cheapish card just to drive my desktop speakers so I can listen to music / youtube etc? Need something that works with 10.8.2!

the easy way for most is to get a usb sound card.iv used a creative usb go-pro thx..works oob.
and sounds decent...
a great solution for users with onboard audio issues..and its cheap too.
i got one for around 50usd..at microcenter..
