This is driving me nuts as I cannot figure out why, But some images have a pink hue in the background. The snapshot is in Safari and the same view in Chrome and its gone. Its not is all images just some. And its not related the CMYK monitors.

Anybody else experienced this?

I mistakenly attributed this change to an update to use WhateverGreen. It was not the case. I build the building the Teleport application for virtual KVM and there where some issues with it. I was debugging the invisible windows is sets up on you displays and in the process I must have invertenly enabled 'Color 1x Images' in Quartz Debug helper application. It essentially show images that are not ready for HighRes displays as tinted.

Disabling the option and reboot the computer removed the tints from the images

I will leave this here as reference if anybody else new to mac os development makes the same mistake
