Hi,Friends!
I met a new Problem now,who can help me?
I finished my high serria installation,it seems perfect. But what i wander is that the temperature of my laptops seems higher than on windows. My Computer is Lenovo Legion R720,and the part around my right hand(maybe SUMSUNG NVME or CPU) becomes a little hot when programming, but it does not become like this on windows.
And i get the temperature by HWmonitor,CPU is 39c and NVME is 42c,it seems normal, even lower than temperature got on windows. So i am in a confused now,the high temperature makes a bad experience.

Who can tell me what is the problem? The kexts of CPU or NVME,or other causes?

Thanks,
Regards!

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

Also, please fix your profile as requested in the FAQ.

Here is my archive,i have put data from gen_debug script and manul into the zip.Wish it is enough to diagnose.
Thanks!

Obvious problems:
- CPU PM not implemented
- USB WiFi (not recommended, see FAQ)
- SATA-unsupported.kext missing
- NVMe has no PM (known problem, no solution except replace with SATA M.2)
- USB configuration is wrong (see FAQ)
- drivers64UEFI is wrong
- NVidia not disabled

Start over with guide:

Hi,RehabMan.I am trying to deal with "CPU PM not implemented" as said in your guide.I am using KabyLake HD630,so i pick the plist file "config_HD615_620_630_640_650_spoof.plist" and already renamed it.I find no #DropTable node but only a DropTables in ACPI node. Then i change "DropOem" to YES in SSDT like the picture post. But it can't reach my system when i reboot,a stop symbal instead. What should i do with "CPU PM" in this scenario.
And i have tried to disable NVIDIA Graphics by writing a SSDT-DiscreteSpoof.aml file and injecting properties, what should i know if it is success?

Looking forward to your reply
Best Regards

DropOem=true would be wrong.
Do not make such nonsense changes.

SSDT-DiscreteSpoof.aml does not disable the DGPU hardware. It only prevents graphics drivers from loading against the device.
For disabling, refer to the guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-disabling-discrete-graphics-in-dual-gpu-laptops.262174/

Okey,But the guide tells that.I find no commented node ,so i change "DropOem".There is not commented DropTables,is that means i have implemented PWmanager

I don't know what you're reading.
The "alternate DropTables" discussion only applies to certain Sandy Bridge/Ivy Bridge CPUs.
As per guide it is also prefaced by "If you're getting a panic..."
Your profile indicates KabyLake.
Must read carefully.

Hi,RehabMan. I have tried something in the guide as i can.But what i can't solve is the CPU PW implement,I use Kabylake i5-7300HQ,and i upload the debug zip ,would you like to help me to check the CLOVER or config.plist?i really can not find the wrong.
Thanks.
