3 year old Hackintosh Project. Had some fun with this one, and read _several_ forum posts and guides to tweak it, the high points: OSX loads fine! DVI monitor works great! Sound and stuff works from headphone output! USB working great with my 8 channel audio interface!

The down sides: Video is bad on VGA and HDMI outputs - they show "corrupted" video output squished over and folded in on itself like 8-bit hell. Installing Flash and Firefox were Impossible and I dont understand why because so many other things just loaded no problem.

I'm sure that I still don't have the device ID right, and I might suffer from too many/conflicting strings?

Anyways, it's been like 3 years, this build has treated me good, but I could never get it working 100%.

Here's what the org.chameleon.Boot.plist file looks like at the moment:

Update: Fixed with

<key>HD4000PlatformId</key>
<string>0</string>

Changed Graphics Allocation to 96 in BIOS. Reboot.

Now have 2 - 48 inch monitors doing 1080p and it looks smooth and delicious.

Got one monitor with long HDMI going upstairs to recording studio, other monitor on 15ft DVI downstairs in my office where the box is. Very nice being able to work upstairs when doing hackintosh, as for the last several years it has been a battle.

Thanks TonyMac for everything! The site is great! I've learned so much, thanks again!
