I used this method and it worked :thumbup:

I am running Lion 10.7.3, so for those who are wondering if its going to work with the chameleon bootloader, yes, the author also confirmed it.

EFIStudio 1.1 used.

Thanks a lot man!

Have a nice day.

Hi guys, you are the best but I am having real problems here and am tearing my hair out!!! Can't seem to get the app store up and running please please please help me....

I'm running off an Asus p5qd turbo and the built in ethernet. I have no wifi so that's not an issue just plugged straight into the router.

my com.apple.boot.plist looks as follows:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1c,0x5)/Pci(0x0,0x0)</key>
<dict>
<key>built-in</key>
<string>0x01</string>
</dict>
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>

<key>device-properties</key>
<string>4b00000001000000010000003f0000000100000002010c00d041030a0000000001010600051c0101060000007fff0400160000006200750069006c0074002d0069006e0000000500000001</string>
<key>PCIRoot</key>
<string>1</string>
</dict>
</plist>

and my org.chameleon.Boot.plist is:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">

<key>PCIRoot</key>
<string>1</string>
</dict>
</plist>

My graphics card is fine ootb and I've tried the EFI studio which now can't write to the com.apple.boot.plist file. I'm a bit of a novice (understatement!) and am running 10.6.8 core2duo. Any help would be the best! Thanks guys

Don't edit your com.apple.boot.plist. That's the old way of doing thing ;)

Try this tutorial out:

I've been trying this method over the last day or so but no joy. Could it something simple like the attansicl1eethernet kext isn't actually right for my motherboard? Although it does make my ethernet work for browsing? I doubt it, but I think I'm missing something simple as it should really be working by now considering the various methods i've tried. I did read somewhere that for Lion you alter the org.chameleon.boot.plist and for snow leopard you alter com.apple.boot.plist. Any truth in that? My versions are full of guff now but the system is still fine all except that damn App store!

I can't get mine to work!
I have a Realtek RTL8187B Network Card.
I believe my files are correct, however this really doesn't work.
I uploaded my files, if anyone can check them, I'd be appreciated.
