I first installed Sierra onto an eve 850 sad on an ASRock h97m-itx. Worked fine. Then I installed Yosemite to another partition on the same SSD according to the guide using unibeast had no problem during installation. On restart, clover gave me boot options - two internal hfs partitions and two recovery partitions. Sierra still boots fine. However, when I select the Yosemite partition the boot process stalled halfway. I rebooted and added the '-v' option in clover and saw that Yosemite was choking on not finding the bluetooth controller. Indeed this motherboard has a little chip that provides wifi and bluetooth that you have to plug in. Since I do need need either of those sources of electrical noise in this system, i didn't put the chip in. I have successfully installed sierra on this same system without a hitch. My reason for downgrading to Yosemite is that Sierra cannot recognize USB 3 ports. Attached are pics of the boot process
I tried this:
Haswell Integrated Graphics Don't Start
Currently using DVI port.
But the kicker is that Sierra didn't need any of these settings and worked fine.
I tried this:
Haswell Integrated Graphics Don't Start
- Often a hang or reboot after hfs: set VeryLowDisk: vol:untitled
- Often several lines after Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport
- Format your disk Mac OS Extended (Journaled) with GUID Partition Table before running the installation process
- Try Clover Configurator / ACPI / FixDisplay
- Confirm Inject Intel = true
- Try updating to current BIOS release
- Try using other digital outputs on your board (other HDMI/DVI/DP ports)
Currently using DVI port.
But the kicker is that Sierra didn't need any of these settings and worked fine.
