As the title says I am having issues with my old Hackintosh and SATA III ports. It boots up, shuts down, and sleeps fine. But, I was getting an error for the aftermarket SATA III driver/kext upon boot up. So, I deleted the kext and reinstalled it via Multibeast. Still get the error and no drive is seen on these ports. All SATA ports are activated in BIOS. It is the old X58A-UD5 version 1.0 board with Marvell SATA III chipset. If any of this helps with troubleshooting.

I was able to fix this by reinstalling 10.12.5. I don't know what was going on when I first installed but, I did follow this guide (http://lnx2mac.blogspot.com/2010/07/optimal-bios-configuration.html) to a T for setting up the BIOS and everything is now working. Hope someone finds this useful if they are working with older hardware.
