[SOLVED] WLan Netis WF2190 AC1200 Yosemite

Hi,

i installed the USB3 Wlan stick. Using the drivers and Network Utility Software wich came with the stick on CD Yosemite freezes. After searching here i found a patched Network Utility 2.3.8. After installing this Software the stick and Wlan is working so far.

From the manufacturers HP i can see that the stick provides up to 300mbps in 2,4 ghz and up to 867 mbps in the 5ghz modus.

But no matter in what ghz modus i switch the rx shows exactly 300 mbps. tx shows nothing. Signal quality changes from 70 to 100%. but the rx stays always at 300mbps.

When i used an Edius "old" wlan stick tx and rx were shown and changes according to the % of Signal quality.

My thoughts are is the driver working correctly?

Any suggestions are welcome.

SOLVED...

first i installed WNU 2.3.11 with the drivers (before that de-install old drivers and app)

then i checked "About my Mac" and recognized the USB was in an USB2 Port. Changed to an USB3 Port

now i have 867 mbps the max. the USB Dongle provides
