Hi,
I'm trying to make it through the installation process, and I've run into an issue I can't seem to solve.

At first it would just get stuck on the Apple logo. I turned on ACPI patching>DSDT fix mask>Fix Headers and verbose mode so I can monitor what's going on. That got me to the High Sierra setup page. However, my HDD wasn't showing up. I then tried the close/reopen Disk Utility trick - to no avail. I tried finding the disk through Terminal and it didn't show up there, either.

After reading up a bit, I added some patches as instructed by a previous post from someone (see attached config.plist file). That didn't fix it either.

Then I changed the SATA config in BIOS to AHCI. Now when I boot up it goes through part of the sequence, then restarts and I'm back in Clover. See video.

Ok, so I enabled "Fix Shutdown" and "Fix SATA" in the same place I did "Fix Headers" and that got the drives recognized. I'll update if there are any other problems I run into.

What does fix header do?
