Re: USB3 didn't work Z77M-D3H

Wow...
You've royally screwed up...
That board has integrated Intel USB 3.0, not NEC/Renesas or Etron USB 3.0...
You might want to remove whatever kext you installed, as it has nothing to do with your USB 3.0 ports not working.

Re: USB3 didn't work Z77M-D3H

thank for reply thelostswede :)

If I didn't install USB3 driver from multibeast the USB3 can not work

I dont know why but first boot into Lion (not install Multibeast yet) USB3 work fine

I guss it because of UserDSDT from Multibeast that make USB not work

but if I didn't install UserDSDT Lion can't boot without Unibeast

So if possible could you please suggest me how to install Mulibeast what configuration you used :)

Re: USB3 didn't work Z77M-D3H

Big Thank thelostswede!!!!!

Like you said I did something wrong that is xHCI

have to change to Auto mode and USB3 can WORK!!!!

Thank You Very Much!!!!

Hi bro!
Could you please give a screenshot with System Profiler USB? I can't run any USB 3 devices after deleting PXHCD kext. Now it shows hubs correctly but i can't use it :(

Here's my screenshot with USB drive in USB3 slot - completely don't see it.
xHCI / EHCI Hand-off activated, xHCI Mode - Auto.
Z77M-D3H, BIOS F8

No-one told you to delete anything. See the link above, it simply just works with Z77 boards.
I read your topic first, i swear! :)

I just deleted NEC/Renesas PXHCD.kext installed from Multibeast because of such case:
Until i deleted it, this patched kext merged devices (in System Profiler) in USB3 port with existing USB 2 Root Hub (no separate xHCI hubs were seen). Only after deleting i can see these hubs as they should be seen. But i can't plug anything :)
