[Solved] USB 2.0 devices don't work on USB 3.x ports

I cannot get USB to work properly.

USB 3.0 devices mount on 3.0 ports and 2.0 ports but 2.0 devices don't show up on 3.0 and 3.1 ports.
Any ideas?

I am already stuck @ #1 in that guide:

USBInjectAll.kext Requirements:
- Clover Rename XHC1 -> XHC

In Clover Configurator 5.3.2.0 there is no way to add XHC1 -> XHC, meaning, it's not in the List of Patches.

Also in the FB-Patcher 1.6.6, under USB Controllers, it shows:
XHC 200-series 0x8086 0xA2AF
XHC1 Unknown 0x1B21 0x2142

Therefore I also failt at #2 in that guide.

HSxx ports connected to USB3 ports should be set to USB3

Huh? I don't get it. The ASUS z370-a has 2xUSB2.0 at the back and 2xUSB2.0 in the front. Should I now set those to USB3 or 2?

Does not compute:

- If it uses the same HSxx/SSxx in both orientations, then it has an internal switch (use "TypeC+Sw")
- If it uses a different HSxx/SSxx in each orientation, then it has no switch (use "TypeC")

"orientation"? No idea what that means.

Hi, I'm experiencing this on 10.13.6 too, Intel FB-Pathcer Method didn't solve my problem.
