I upgraded from Mojave 10.14.1, to Mojave 10.14.3. Now when I try to sign in, the login box disappears like the sign in was successful, but it doesn't really sign me in. I can browse the App Store, but if I click the Get/Purchase/Download button it just offers me the login/password boxes again and appears to work but still doesn't sign me in. It all worked fine with 10.14.1.

Thanks for your help; I don't use wifi, just Ethernet to router.

I even tried to create a new Apple ID and got error:
384792

But I am connected to App Store and can browse apps, everything that doesn't involve signing in or creation of new ID

All the data we have now point the cause of the problem away from your System toward Apple Store for which I don't think you can do anything on your System.
Does your RealMac or iPhone experience this issue?
May be others who had this problem and solved it may be able to help you.
I don't know if Apple will have any interest in helping you fix this in your Hack!

It does seem like that, but does that mean everyone who updated to 10.14.3 is having the same problem?

No, and I have Sierra on another disk in the same PC and it's fine.

Is there anyone else with this problem?

I have macOS Mojave 10.14.3 but not what you have experienced. Previous problem signing into Apple Store were related to Ethernet BSDName not being en0

If you have not already tried , you can delete the NetworkInterfaces.plist and Preferences.plist and reboot to get that back . This might get rid of any corrupted files.
You may have to get your Network to get you a new IP number etc through your Modem Router to get the Internet .

Steps:
Rt click Finder from Dock> Go to Folder...> type in or copy and paste /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/
Delete NetworkInterfaces.plist and Preferences.plist[See image]
Reboot the Computer

Make sure System Preferences> Network shows Ethernet Connected and IP address 192.168.0.xx for your macOS Mojave is obtained and you see your Router's IP of 192.168.0.1
  • Have you set up an iCloud Account?
Can you upload that screen from System Preferences>iCoud [See sample image]

That was it!! Really do appreciate your help, thanks so much:)

Glad you could fix the problem by deleting the corrupt NetworkInterfaces and Preferences.plists and automatically recreating them.
Clues from your previous posts that helped in directing the troubleshoot to this area were:
Your macOSMojave had Ethernet setup with BSD Name :en0
You have other macOS with the same Ethernet connecting to AppStore using the same Router-Modem.

Please update the TITLE of your o POST with Prefix [SOLVED]: your solved post can save as an answer to similar issue others may have.
