OK,

I got impatient and pulled my USB stick out during Unibeast install. My bad...
NOW I get this error when running Unibeast. re-booted, I have reformatted the stick. I have gone in to terminal and it doesn't even list these as mounted....

Dug deeper on this site found this from previous thread.

OK I've found the solution on other thread - go to finder, then use 'go" - "Go to folder" - then enter /Volumes, then rename OS X Base System (with red - before it) to something else eg. Other Os X Base system. Reformat usb, try to run unibeast 6.2 again. It worked for me. It was also solution for my other problem (cannot remove installation files) in unibeast v 6.1.1

Disk 3 is my USB stick...

use a smaller drive

I had this problem when installing mine, try to unmount any/all volumes that show in Disk Utility, this happened when unibeast was recently ran but didn't clean up properly.

Nope... tried... Thanx!

I had the same issue... I was installing unibeast and the USB stick got disconnected. When I inspected /Volumes I saw the "OS X Base System" volume. I tried unmounting via terminal with no luck... but... I was able to finally get it to eject. To do this I opened a new finder window and in the Go dropdown I selected Go To Folder. Then in the pop up type /Volumes/. This will take you to the Volumes directory where you can send the "OS X Base System" volume to the trash. Empty the trash and then you can re-run unibeast.

Thank you sooooooooo very much
