So I'm trying to boot from a legacy Master Boot Record formatted USB and install Yosemite. The motherboard I'm using is a Z7-WS. So what happens is that the system will load a strange legacy BIOS, but I can't boot into the installer. My USB keyboard and mouse do not function at all when in this strange BIOS, but my PS/2 keyboard can. Upon using the PS/2 keyboard to navigate the strange BIOS, I found that the installer USB does not show up as a boot option. I was wondering if there are any ideas on how to fix this. This same method I did not have an issue with for my P9D WS and everything worked fine, so I don't know what the issue is here.

edit: I feel like it could be a BIOS setting that would cause the USB devices to work as they should, but I have no idea where to look. I have what feels like everything enabled too, so there shouldn't be any issues.
