Hello, I faced the problem when I finished the installing macOS Mojave.
My trackpad is blank, and I used of kext ApplePS2SmartTouchpad.kext

So I moved some driver in folder driver64UEFI in my EFI and then my trackpad can show up the prefpanes.
Whats wrong tih the driver I've installed?

In 90% of the cases that I’ve seen, if you have installed the kexts correctly a patch of _OSI to emulate Windows when running macOS fixes empty prefpane and many other undefined/strange issues.

Sometimes kext cache rebuild can also help.

Hello my friend. Could You show your files on driver64UEFI, I got the same problem of white trackpad prefpane with Mojave using Clover and the same currently using OpenCore with BigSur 11.1. I use the same kext like You Apple ApplePS2SmartTouchpad.kext version 4.6.5 with many functions like dragging to move objects and windows, tap to clic, 3 tap fingers right menu options, 3 fingers down show LaunchPad, 2 fingers swipe right and left,

PD. I got synaptics touchpad like U in my lenovo Z70-80

and maybe if you could share your EFI folder it would be better.
