[solved] T450 DUAL Battery Status help

It appears you're getting an invalid "warning capacity" the first time through...
fCapacityWarningRaw = -1

I also noticed this. However subsequent calls gives correct fCapacityWarningRaw. However, battery bar doesn't update itself. I also tried System Preferences/Energy Saver and clicked "Show battery status in menu bar" to enable and disable the bar but it didn't make any change.

Is there any way to fix this issue? Why restarting fixes this issue? It is like it is resetting something upon restart.

Maybe you should change the StartupDelay. It can be done with ACPI. Look at SSDT-ACPIBATT.dsl in the ACPIBatteryManager repo.

Or you can fix your DSDT.
You can use ACPIDebug.kext to debug the internals of your DSDT battery methods.
 
I have tried many things and still couldn't solve it. I also tried to change StartupDelay of kext but it didn't cause any change. What I observe that this only happens after a cold boot. After I restart everything goes back to normal. It is like there is a difference between cold boot and restart. How can I debug this issue? Where should I look for differences in terms of cold boot and restart? I have attached my new clover folder which also has several other fixes that I saw on other Sony S Series threads. I have pushed all the patches I used to my github repo at https://github.com/tosbaha/Sony-SA-DSDT-Patches I will really appreciate if you can help me to fix this issue. Thanks.

I tried to change the delay both with kext editing like in my previous post, also tried to use SSDT-ACPIBATT.dsl from your repo. I have changed BAT1 to BATC and changed StartupDelay to 50. Changed clover config to load it after SSDT-BATC.aml Again no difference. Attached files has IoRegistryExplorer file and my Clover folder.

The path you have in SSDT-ACPIBATT is wrong.
Your BATC is at _SB.PCI0.LPCB.H_EC.BATC, not _SB.BATC.
