SOLVED // SL Installation Troubleshooting

Hey there!

I have troubles reaching the installation screen.
I`ve set up the BIOS correctly + unplugged USB and PCI peripherals and I only use SATA 3Gb/s slots >>> put in iboot >>> put in Snow Leopard DVD and then it doesn`t go any further.

I`ve already used PCIROOTVID=1, -x, -y but it didn`t help.

Any ideas what the problem may be?

Asrock Z68 Pro 3-M (BIOS v 1.4)
Intel i5 2500k 3,3 Ghz
AMD Radeon 6850
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 64MB Cache

Is it a problem when the retail DVD contains 10.6.0? It is one of the first generation.

10.6 version is fine. Try adding additonal boot flag GraphicsEnabler=No
