Hi Guys,

I recently purchased the below WiFi/Bluetooth card from Amazon which was hoping would be plug and play but I seem to be having some issues.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00MBP25UK/?tag=tonymacx86-21

Once the card was installed Sierra is failing to boot with the attached error and if I remove the card it boots again.

I am not sure if I am missing any kexts or anything but if anyone could give me any help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hardware:
- Maximus Hero Viii
- Intel 6700k
- GTX 1080

SMBIOS - 6,1

Injected Kexts -
- AppleIntelE1000e.kext
- FakeSMC.kext

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Mezza

Can you show your config.plist from clover? I had the same symptoms, ACPI section in my config was wrong.

Hi wlodekwolf1,

I checked some website it say unplug the card, reboot, rebuild the cache and plug card back solve the problem

I have tried to unplug the card, clear caches and then reattached but it didn't resolve my issue as well as injecting some additional kexts.

Hopefully wlodekwolf1 can help us both out :)

The error is most probably caused by some or all of the unnecessary ACPI fixes in your config.plist.

Hi P1lgrim,

Thanks for the response.

I do have most of the flags selected (as this seems to be done as default).

Could it be worth turning off 'FixAirport_4000'?

Thanks

Config shows a lot of Patches in config. #DisableDrivers/CsmVideoDxe is nonsense not needed with dedicated Graphics however CsmVideoDxe is not needed in Drivers64UEFI. ACPI shows Patches which are not needed. ACPI, DSDT, Patches has also patches which are not needed ACPI, DSDT, Fixes have too many fixes which are not needed. Only add ACPI Patches which are needed. Using incorrect SMBIOS. Messy config. Remove all patches and PCI-E Network card and attach ioreg. [Guide] How to Make a Copy of IOReg | tonymacx86.com

Thanks VoiletDragon! I uncheck all APCI fix and now I boot into Sierra.
