Hm, maybe you would like to consider to use the tool Chameleon Wizard to install
a new version of Chameleon - the boot flags are working for me with
Chameleon v2.1 svn r1819. The tool can be found e.g. on http://www.osx86.net

breiti3000, thanks for posting. This really helped me when I was deciding what card to get.

Sharing this in the hopes that it will help someone else...I have this version:
Sapphire Radeon HD6670 1GB DDR3 VGA/DVI/HDMI - 100326DDR3L and using
GraphicsEnabler=Yes
AtiConfig=Pithecia
AtiPorts=3

I was able to get it working right away. This is on GA-Z68AP-D3 r2.0, FB bios & DSDT, 10.6.8, MultiBeast 3.10/Chimera 1.7, DVI output only @ 1400x1050. (No 16:9 monitor at home yet)

The default framebuffer for this card with just GE=Yes was Bulrushes, which = black screen at boot.

First great forum.
Just built my HTPC with your recommendations.

My card is a Sapphire HD6670 1GB

DVI-VGA-HDMI

PN 299-1E19B-700SA

Like a lot of people mine is not recognized completely, just as 6xxx.
Tested Cinebench 11.5
Got 29.36 fps on OpenGL.
3.00 pts on CPU.
Don't know if my results are okay or not.

Had to include my ethernet id from efistudio to make the appstore work.

What else do you think I should add to make it fully work.

i used pithecia and 3 atiports, was able to boot, but running only at 640x320. tried selecting other resolutions in sys pref, but system reverted back to 640x320 on its own. good news is i can now play fifa12, but only at that lousy reso.

i need 1900x1200 as my monitor is wide screen. any ideas?

With a z77ud5h // Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and a AMD Saphirre HD 6670 1gb ddr3 AtiConfig=Pithecia AtiPorts=3 GraphicsEnabler=Yes it works!! but only for one boot, if i reboot, the graphics are no more recognized, ir saida NI40 and DVD Player crashes!!
any idea why only works for one boot, i have to re install and put this thing again!!
