Been running Catalina under Clover for a long time now. Decided that it was time for OpenCore, so yesterday I installed it. Everything works: USB, AppleStore, Parallels, Final Cut, ethernet and so on.
BUT every other time I boot, I get a BIOS crash/"Post failure". So I press the reset button on the case, and then it boots just fine, through OpenCore, and I have a working machine in every way I can tell.
Needless to say, I'd like to eliminate those every-other-time crashes.
I have cleared the NVRAM; verified my config.plist with the comparison tool; verified my BIOS settings with the Coffee Lake using the Dortania recommendations.
I'm lost. Has anyone see this behavior and/or have any suggestions on fix it, or tracking it down?
Suggestions appreciated.
