[Solved] Reaching Installer Z170-D3H

Hey guys,

Having trouble reaching installer on said mobo.

My build is pretty much identical to the mATX April build guide.

I reach clover, I tried booting in verbose, I also tried booting in safe mode. Verbose doesn't get past a coding typing screen, and the other two boot methods freeze at the apple logo.

I'm using an 8GB usb, does it matter that my k&m are plugged into the front panel and not the mobo?

Will be trying more things in mean time.

At Clover Boot Screen select Options > PCI devices > USB Ownership and USB Injection

Check Inject USB + FixOwnership in Clovers config.plist.

Thanks a lot. You are a saint. I have Sierra installed now. I jsut have to recheck this configs everytime. Anyway I can save it so it does it auto every boot?

• Download Clover Configurator (Vibrant Edition)
• Open Clover Configurator
• Mount your EFI partition
• Open EFI/EFI/Clover/Config.plist
• Go to Devices > USB and enable Inject and FixOwnership
• Save
• Close Clover Configurator

Thanks again BreBo, that's working fine now. When it loads it does some weird choppy vertical graphics wipe. I'm gonna head to that forum though and deal with it.
