My Hackintosh Vostro 3546 working fine with AppleALC for realtek Alc255 .Internal mic is working fine in other apps and I can hear voice recording through other apps very much clearly. It's working Fine for me in Sierra 10.12.2 but after upgrading to High Sierra 10.13.5 ,it's not working as usual ,I can use type to interact with Siri and on adjusting my input magnitude a little low and using scuffed whispering voice ,It hear a little much correctly but with normal sound ,it keeps repeating ''Could you say that again"
"Sorry, I'm having trouble hearing you."
"Sorry,I couldn't hear what you said."

and sometimes offers a list of available commands options for various apps .I tried clearing nvram ,switching it on /off ,turning dictationtion on/off ,changing accents etc. But no Success. My apple account has a customer care support no for iMessage/Facetime but as I said Siri works with typing and a little with whispering voice with complete silence (most times incorrectly ).
