Finally got the time to mess about with this x86 project again and have nearly acheived full functionality except for my audio. All my ram is recognised, processor, graphics - I can boot without iBoot - hurrah!

Anyway, somethings wrong with my audio.... I'm hoping the messages below might help someone tell me what I need to do!! Also under S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext is highlighted orange.....

Re: P6T Audio

Seem to have resolved it by using MultiBeast options:

AppleHDA Rollback
VoodooHDA 0.2.72

Not sure if and why I need VoodooHDA but anyway its working!

Many thanks to all who contribute to tonymacx86. Awesome!

DSMOS has arrived

Hi - anyone else who might be having problems and read this....

VoodooHDA caused slight issues so I removed it. I also realised HDAEnabler is not needed and I got some specific audio kexts from InsanelyMac and bin patched AppleHDA - just look up P6T Guide.

Sound is now perfect. Everything is now fully operational.

I installed the audiopatcher from the asus guide from insanelymac but it didn't work for me, do you know what else I should try?

No - I'm just learning about all this stuff too.

If I were you I would remove any kexts that you've added that relate to audio - then follow the info below...

(I also needed to replace my AppleHDA kext as I'd messed something up... so maybe just start with your audio from the beginning).

To get it to work once I had another AppleHDA kext installed - I followed this from insanelymac:

How binpatch AppleHDA from terminal:
- AD2000B (P6T Deluxe v1/v2 P6TD Deluxe) also need a "legacy.kext" file in /Extra/Extensions >> AD2000B <<
sudo perl -pi -e 's|\x8b\x19\xd4\x11|\x9b\x98\xd4\x11|g' /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext/Contents/MacOS/AppleHDA
