[Solved] - No sound after sleep - ALC892 - Yosemite + Clover - Help with fix

Followed the guide successfully until it was time to change values. The values aren't found at all in my plist and it feels like this guide was written for an older version of the kext project. Does anyone know how the heck to make this work? I tried just dropping the compiled kext as it is but that just causes the system to not sleep. Googled for hours without result.

EDIT:
The downloadable codec-commander.kext from the linked thread will not work on the 1150, in fact the 1150 isn't even handled in the .plist. So I'll keep my guide up and link it here for others coming down this path:

Worked for me. Although I had to manually insert Codec Address Number and insert 2 using TextWrangler. Saved to desktop and ran KextBeast and now it works great. Thank you

mobo: p8z77-v pro / alc892 / El Capitan

just put CodecCommander.kext from https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-eapd-codec-commander/downloads to Clover/kexts/10.11 and all works perfect after wake up. There was no sound before.

Hey,

The one thing I missed in previous message. I ran cloverALC to make sound worked... I really did nothing else. Sorry that it doesn't help you.
