[solved] No brightness controls

Hi. Just updated to 10.12, everything is working fine except brightness control. I used latest IntelBacklight.kext, but no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks

Now I have another problem
I want to enable "tap to click" option for touchpad, but I see nothing when I click on "Trackpad" in system preferences. The screen is completely blank. Same when I click on "Trackpad.prefpane" under /System/Library/PreferencePanes. Is it possible to change the values using Terminal? Or is there an option to fix the prefpane?
