Hey. So I have this problem with my audio (Realtek ALC269VB). I have followed this thread - https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solved-no-audio-with-realtek-alc269.144634/page-2 but nothing helped. I found the right AppleHDA.kext (double-checked the contents, it matched IDs with my system). I patched then my DSDT, with Layout 12 patch, then changed layout ID to 3 to match everything up. I tried with layout 3 but it doesn't work either. I also used IRQ fix patch for DSDT in all of my tests, but still no luck. Did I miss something? Also in some cases I saw Intel HDA device, that's maybe my sound card? So anyway I'm stuck. I attached a few screenshots, I hope they'll help.

Codec: Realtek ALC269VB
Vendor ID: 0x10ec0269

Attach ioreg as ZIP: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

Provide output (in Terminal):
Code:
kextstat|grep -y acpiplat
kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu
kextstat|grep -y applelpc
kextstat|grep -y applehda

Attach EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (press F4 at main Clover screen before collecting). Please eliminate 'themes' directory. Provide only EFI/Clover, not the entire EFI folder.

Attach output of (in Terminal):
Code:
sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /

Compress all files as ZIP. Do not use external links. Attach all files using site attachments only.

Also attach the AppleHDA.kext you're using.

Lots of obvious problems:
- kextcache indicates AppleHDA.kext will not load. Perhaps this AppleHDA is not patched based on the version of macOS you're running. No expectation that AppleHDA will work, even if you fix the rest of the problems.
- the AppleHDA.kext you attached uses layout-id 3 (not sure why you would attempt layout-id 12)
- there is no patched DSDT in ACPI/patched, therefore no possibility to have the required layout-id patch, nor IRQ fix.

So far everything seems to be okay, except sound is ~75% at max compared to Windows, but that's not a big deal.

Typical with patched AppleHDA.
Marked solved.
