MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 is giving me screen resolution problems when I try to change settings to correct out of wack screen stetting that are set at.

Snow Leopard identifies the card right out of the box but having issues with settings changes that cause a blue screen when I try new changes. I try hitting return button but it doesn't get me back to screen where then I have to restart and bam I am back right back onto the desktop again. :(

Monitor Adapter that came with card: MSI DVI to VGA adapter

Monitor : Acer v193

[SOLUTION]
Go with this option rather the option below for correct name in system profiler. Having some issues now running cinebench for testing out system using option 2.

Option 1

Boot Options
32-bit Apple Boot Screen

OR

Option 2

Re: MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 Screen Resolution Issues

Can someone point in the right direction to enable this in Snow Leopard 10.6.8

How would I go about getting a DSDT edit per the tonymacx83 graphics database. My card just would not show up. I don't even see where to enable Graphics Enabler in multibeast.

"DSDT edit required for correct GPU name in System Profiler"
