[Solved] Mojave 10.14 only boots in Verbose mode.

Status
Not open for further replies.
Just a moment ago i deleted the IntelGraphicsFixup.kext and updated Clover to it's latest version 4644. Now the thing is that sometimes it boots normally and sometimes do not. Maybe have to just wait for the official release of Mojave.

Managed to fix my issue. Turns out DSDT was broken. Removed everything but power management and turned on XCMP, that fixed it completely.

Good to hear! I'm really not that familiar with DSDT and since i got well working High Sierra system i'm kinda afraid to do like ANYTHING to these settings. Maybe have to check it out bit by bit to find the missing piece. Gratulations for working system SpiderCab!

Update to a situation since 10.14 final version came out. Installed succesfully 10.14 (in verbose mode, ofcourse), updated the latest Clover bootloader (4674) and updated also all kexts to the latest releases. And what happened? Actually not that much. Problem still remains. Only possible way to boot is in -verbose mode. Without -v it reboots just after the apple loading bar appears. Heres the report:

Looks like kernel panic caused by FakePCIID.kext
Suggest you remove it as this kext requires an appropriate injector kext, and it seems you don't have that installed.

Thanks for advice. Deleted FakePCIID.kext from folder and still no luck. Here's the error message:

Have the same issue with similar configuration. looking forward to see any solution.

I have a same problem on my laptop's Mojave.
but it didn't occur when using 'cpus=1' boot flag.
I wonder what makes this kernel panic.

Ok. I think i got it solved out. Thing was that i replaced all FakeSMC stuff with VirtualSMC and so far everything is working ok. All five reboots i tried worked. Eventhough it was more like a cosmetic thing, i'm quite happy to have a clean boot now. Hope this helps you guys struggling with same error.
