Ok, so i just built my new MacMini.. And i get the Beach-ball from hell.

I am trying to boot a xMove made installer partition "on a thumb drive" I know it works, i have installed the system i`m using now from it.

Boot loader =
easy DSDT, made with Multibeast 4.0.2 Using DSDT from database.

System =
Gigabyte H67N-USB3-B3.Rev-1.0_F5
Intel core i5 2500K
Zotac Geforce 550Ti AMP
8 GB Corsair XMS 3

BIOS =
SATA set to AHCI
Turbo set to Standard
Init display first set to PCI Express 16x
Disable onboard GPU when "PCI GPU pressent"?
HPET enabled = 64bit

Monitor =
Connected to ZOTAC - HDMI

Symptoms
When booting installer partition in -v or " " first stage completes but when installer menu should appear, i get grey background with :beachball: = mouse
Any tips on getting past beach ball? What is causing it? Tips about boot flags?

Thanks in advance :D

Re: MacMini GA-H67N-USB3-B3_F5 BeachBall on install

The BeachBall issue was solved yesterday. The new multi beast Lion edition puts all kexts in /System/Library/Extentions, and the fakeSMC next was not loaded

Solution
Make /Extra/Extentions folder, move fakeSMC into it and rebuild extensions.mkext with Kext Utility.

Now almost everything is up an going, except lacking qe_ci.. I have injected GTX 550 Ti device id to NVDAGF100Hal.kext, and the card is recognized, except showing as 1532MB instead of 1024. + onboard intel graphics is not showing at all. like its not there.

I will soon be building mac mini 2011

I am facing same beachball :beachball: issue, however I used a custombeast and really don't know where to grab the FakeSMC from. Please help? I Appreciate the assistance in advance! :banghead:
