Any idea how to fix the screen flickering shown in the images above? i used this guys clover folder

Refer to config_UHD.plist (in my y50 github) for important patches related to 128MB DVMT-prealloc.

I got it working, change my bios to legacy and that helped for some reason... now i only have battery status indicator and bluetooth left, the battery shows 0% and bluetooth just isnt working, i have batterymanagement kext and also the fakepciid_brdcm kext. any help?

Not surprising. It is called for by the guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

But you still need to fix your DVMT related patching.

Refer to the FAQ:

Why do i need to fix it when it works already..?

I also referred to the faq and tried patching the dstd but i keep getting a syntax error for namegen or something..

Also the faq doesnt give any info about battery and bluetooth fixes

If it is working, then you likely have the settings from config_UHD.plist for DVMT-prealloc 128mb.

I also referred to the faq and tried patching the dstd but i keep getting a syntax error for namegen or something..

Refer to the guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-patching-laptop-dsdt-ssdts.152573/

The guide is very detailed on tools to be used, disassembly procedures, fixing certain common errors, and "problem reporting" requirements.

Also the faq doesnt give any info about battery and bluetooth fixes

Your assertion is false.
