that's the issue, read the faq on how to install a kext:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.164990/

Already looked at that, did everything but i keep getting a spinning circel at boot, then it crashes... cant you create a good config.plist for me please? i am able to change the preallocated dvmt in my advanced bios tab. thanks

also used a config.plist of someone who succeeded with a yoga 2 pro but then my screen got all glitchy and had multiple layers of the same thing stacked on eachother

Also used your config.plist for HD 4600 4400 and 4000 but that one didn't help either then it gets stuck at gioscreenlockstate 3

You cannot expect to have any chance of working graphics without first setting DVMT-prealloc to 128mb.

Already set that in the bios... didnt help

Show BIOS settings.
Attach PR files.

Here, i also used a efi folder of someone who did succeed but then i get this screen flickering...
That does look like the right resolution, its just unusable, already tried changing smbios to mac18,1 or 17,1 but that didnt help

Any idea how to fix the screen flickering shown in the images above? i used this guys clover folder
you are missing FakeSMC.kext in /Library/Extensions

you are missing FakeSMC.kext in /Library/Extensions

i put it in the folder but that didnt help sadly, it seems to be the config.plist since whenever i use my own one it does work but then my resolution is still bad

Fixed it by enabling legacy bios... wierdest thing ever but it worked. Thanks for the help :)
