No need to check any specs...
You would have noticed it was USB2 during port discovery. Because when you plug in a USB3 device to that port, an HSxx lights up in ioreg instead of an SSxx port.

So... looking at your updated ioreg, you're saying that SS01/HS02 are related, as are SS02/HS03? And HS01 is the USB2 only port?

That's correct, however lack of proper knowledge I suppose...

Uhm, I wrote down the port layouts as I plugged around usb2 and usb3.
USB2 HS1 - USB3 HS1. Left rear
USB2 HS3 - USB3 SS02. Right Read
USB2 HS2 - USB3 SS01 Right Front

I can only sanity check. You have the laptop, so only you can test/verify all the details.

Thanks, it looks like all USB ports are functioning as they should.
As for Wifi, I will eventually use this laptop without internet connection.

So once more, thank you for your help and assistance as well as patience for sticking around!
If anything else pops up I will post it into this topic.

Only thing currently not working as it should is Sleep mode, it now goes to sleep after I applied the fix patch, but once it wakes up it's slow and unresponsive. If I check the intel power gadget, speedster hangs and doesn't change, although it changes in HWmonitor app..

Nope, but I don't know if it was caused by my USB wifi..

Do you have USB wifi? Provide problem reporting files. I kind of assumed my sleep bug was possibly caused by my USB wifi, but if you got the exact same laptop but do not use any USB wifi and have the same issue. I don't know.

I'm starting to doubt its my USB wifi causing weird lags.

Hey guys... I'm trying to get HS to boot normally without USB and the issue is, it won't. It will only boot if I use a desktop system definition. When I use another System Def. it will just restart. Any help? please
