[Solved] Kabylake + Z270h cant get to mac installer

Hey all

I build a hackintosh before with no issues a few years ago.

Now I have a new pc and installed Unibeast onto USB from family members iMac for OS X Sierra.

Unibeast was successfully installed to USB.

Tried booting with -v -s nv disable and also fakecpuid as the skylake cpu with no luck.


Changed these settings in Uefi:

Sata Mode: AHCI

Cfg lock: disabled

Vt-d : disabled

Secure boot: Disabled

Disable USB 3.0

I/o serial: disabled


When I select to boot with those flags it either gets stuck at
+++++++++++++++++++

Or in safe mode it will say
Using safe mode
++++++++++++


With only Nv disabled and fake cpuid it's black screen with nothing

Any idea what's going on here? Tried unibeast install twice.

Specs:

i7 7700k Kabylake

GtX 1060 6gb

Asus Z270h board

16gb Corsair Vengeance ram

Crucial 128gb ssd plus a few western digital drives.

I have the same problem with a 7700k + a MSI z270, if you have solved this please reply!

I've solved the problem with this settings:
OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi

OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi.

(Work on both, I've read that it's better FixDrv instead of Fix2Drv)


fakeCPUID: 0x0506E3

KernelCpu: false

CsrActiveConfig: 0x67

config.plist/SMBIOS/Trust: true


Then in Clover select (-v) and (nv_disabled=1)

Thanks folks I got it to install and boot correctly with fakeCPUID: 0x0506E3 + OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi. and GTX 1060 working as display.
Just missing sound from Soundblaster Z and the onboard S122OA not working. Using headset in the meantime via usb but working on finding a fix for line outs.

You can try this config and kexts (recently I ran i7700k + z270). Hope it helps!

try to change disk scheme to GPT (GUID Partition Table)
