[solved]iTunes crash on High Sierra

Status
Not open for further replies.
Hi everybody ! :wave:

I have a new issue on my Dell Laptop.
iTunes crash randomly and I don't know why...

Here my report and my iTunes crash log.

ACPI/origin files are not up-to-date.. same for misc/preboot.log... you forgot to press F4 and F2.

You should check into Shiki.kext.

Shiki will fix it. I was affected by this on all of my hacks. Make sure you read Shiki’s documentation. (Very important)
Regards

Running shiki and the bootflag has fixed the iTunes crashing issue for me

shikigva=25

Hmm .. after a couple of crashes of iTunes, installing latest shiki, trying different skikigva , I think I have my iTunes stable now.

So using Shiki 2.2.4 and shikigva=1 and checked out -disablefxfirmware (somehow it was checked).

Running High Sierra on HSF+

Thanks. I'll try shikigva=1 as boot-args
